How did we get here? It seems like only yesterday we were not parents but this is absolutely not the case. I am a parent, twice. I have two kids and they are in fact my world. I would do anything for them without a doubt.
Being a parent is magical and miraculous. It is everything I dreamed of and nothing like I could ever even believe it would be like.
I stand up for family. Family of any kind. Family could be "typical", parents and kids. Family can be single parent or two moms or adopted or you and your pet. Family is what you choose to believe it to be. Nobody can take it away. Your choice, your actions, your life. I choose my husband and our kids, this is my family. I choose are parents and siblings, they are our family.
I believe in family. I would never have traded what I have right now for what I could've had before. This is my life and this is the road we have traveled.
